I'm baaaaaack!!!!!!!!

Ok, first time poster on this thread. I have been following this log from the beginning and I am not even a trucker and do no posses a CDL. Had been following TTR because I was afraid of being laid off and just using TTR to check on trucking.

I clicked on this because of the title and the name of the poster and have been hooked every since post #8. I usually read the posts at work and check them on the weekends at home and even kept up while on a 2 week scuba vacation to the island of Bonaire this past January.

So Zoomie you have at least one non trucking fan who knows nothing about trucking and could care less about who's fault anything is, but just enjoying the ride.

And... I wonder if CZ has signed off permanently... That would be a shame, seriously. I enjoyed his wit, his bluntness, his follies, and his successes.

Opinions are like @$Z holes, everyone has one and they usually stink, so here's mine. Sh-t happens, sometimes you step in it, sometimes you don't, sometimes it runs down the back of your pants. Instead of laying blame, the key is to figure out if there is anything you could have done to ameliorate the situation and remember it the next time around. I hope Zoomy doesn't leave for good, I very much enjoy this thread. Just my $0.02.

P.S. Has anyone else noticed that since Zoomy stated The Hot Chick prefers THE in her name, that makes her initials THC? Must be why Zoomy acts the way he does, she gets him high.

 

I noticed that a few weeks ago when he politely corrected me, but I was too afraid to mention anything about her initials being THC...

Can confirm your last point. Picked up a sealed trailer, had a car cut me off. One pallet that was double stacked in the middle with no bar leaned forward. I'm with zoomy. Wrecking a few cases is better than rearending a car.

 

Yep. I picked up a loaded trailer in Wheeler Ridge CA that had been driven in from Yuma. Terrible roads out by Brawley. Popped the seal in Lathrop and had a good 30 boxes of lettuce on the deck. None were broke open so the took them. No clue where or when they came tumbling down.
