Sorry about your bad experience,this is a second chance company right?
On one hand they give drivers a chance on the otherhand they robem in the process.
But as long as they have people standing in line it will continue.

 

If my license was that bad I think I would give up on driving a truck for awhile rather than work for nothing

 

Carolina cargo has been mentioned before its a second or 3rd chance company pretty much anybody that can pass a dot physical can work for them... is like going to work at mcdonalds and expected get pay wall street money

 

How long did you drive for them?youre not the first and deffinately won't be the last who has bad reviews about this company.Hope you have better luck with the next place.

I bought a Carolina Cargo guy dinner a few years' back . . . at a Subway no-less. Wish it were a Five-Guys, but hey. He was that broke, trying to count change for a microwave burrito out of a cooler. Second chance companies are GREAT, cool; all that ! but REALLY, let these folks GET a second chance, instead of promulgating them into worthlessness. Either help these guys, or don't. He backed beside me at a 90 without a scathe, and not 100 pullups, either. One of the better driver's I had seen that day, FYI.

 

I have a friend that finished school last week, he was having trouble finding a job and called carolina cargo, within 20 min they offered him a job with all his felonies. They told him an orientation date but told him he had to find his own way there and if he had them buy a ticket he would owe them double out of his first check. Plus no lodging or meals provided during orientation either. And he would team drive for 6 months at 21 cents a mile. When he told me all this i said no way, so i called myself and asked questions like i was looking to work for them and i #### u not they told me the exact same stuff.

 

I've heard bad things about this company but not all this.they make a killing off the drivers.very sad this company does not value their drivers.Many drivers can't get hired because of too many felonies but my stars how far will drivers go to clear their record.

 

So what DOES CC pay in mileage? Just the fact that they don't list it on their website may be a problem.....

But they do pay a $2000 sign on bonus.
