there hiring in Houston (company drivers)and I am some what interested. In the ad it said home 2/3 nights a week. On these forums I'm seeing some people getting home everyday ,or home on weekends , or out 2/3 nights a week. As also said average driver 1500/2000 a week. Houston does have ports and rail yards. If somebody can give some info it would be great. If anyone on this forum out of Houston even better, but any info would be great. Thanks in advance

I work out of the Birmingham railyard. My home time just depends on how I want to run. Some weeks I'm gone all week, some weeks I'm home every night. Just depends on how I want to run. I average being gone two nights a week and home every weekend. My pay is usually between $1200 and $1800 with a $1400 average. I am working on my 6th month of car hauling, so I'm still learning.
