Bolted D Rings

    Hey, Guys,
    Thinking about adding D rings to utility trailer - bolted rings and recessed pan fittings should be rated high enough for what I need. I'm just wondering what the general lifespan of bolted D rings is? How long can I expect them to last, with good installation?

    Either until whatever they're bolted to rusts out, or the bolts give. Saw a Doonan trailer last year older than me with the stock D-rings on it.

    If they're constructed well and installed properly, longer than the rest of the trailer. Pick some junk up from harbor freight and all bets are off.
