I
I agree with you 100%.
I would advise anybody to use quality as a stepping stone, to hop you on the next level.
Be it learning to run your business or saving up to buy your OWN truck.
Have a game plan and stick with it.
I will buy my own truck after a few months, God willingly cash paid for.
I would want to take off 2 weeks without getting in a hole...
That's My goal.

Good I did a little study to see what trucks/engines have problems and what years. Basically what to stay away from.
Mine has a bunk heater running off diesel and bunk AC that runs off the batteries.
Batteries might be low now because it only runs 4-5 hours then shuts down.
But it helps cut down idle time. -
Quality has about 35 companies they now deal with. My truck got old and was costing to much in repairs. Kw and freighrliner didnt 2ant to give me much for trade. So i went to quality. Because they have so many carriers now it took almost 3 weeks to get truck. 2014 volvo with 285k. First week out it broke (electrical problem) quality fixed no problem, except it takes forever to get to a person with authority to ok it. It has since broke down 3 more times same problem. Each time quality towed it in and paid for repair. It is a volvo problem not a quality problem. David the guy who bought the same truck as mine has had NO problems and loves his truck. Quality is over priced i would never consider keeping truck thruout the end of lease. My plan is run it 6 months or so. Save as much as possible then take the money from sale of old truck. Plus my savings and go to dealer. No money down no credit check = big payments over priced trucks. If i went the whole lease i would pay almost 20k more than going thru dealer. Do research on them and go to qes equipment look at the faq to see all the companies they have approved. Would i go thru them again if i had to yes. But overall i think they suck, rude people, super slow to make a decision, liars tell you one thing to your face and another on the phone. Also thier 30day warranty now only covers dot safety defects. So do not leave with the truck if it has any problem. Other than something that dot would shut you down for. Cause if you do YOU will be the one who pays to fix it.
Blackhawk102287 and TruckerNerd Thank this. -
You're doing something wrong, then. When I got my truck through quality I got a power of attorney with my lease documents authorizing me to make any and all repair nd maintenance decisions.

i work for eagle and trust me its a bad idea. the payments are high and you cant defer them unless its broke down. I had a death in the family and had to go home and they wouldn't defer the payment for me. and yes they are owned by celadon

Exactly what I was thinking, corporate fluffer...........

a lot of people do really well and but so many cant make it with there lease. ive been with them 6 months and there was 50 people in my orientation and I'm then only one left

While i think lease purchase is a bad deal, expecting them to defer payments is flat out unrealistic. No finance company anywhere does that. Not your local credit union, not your bank, no one.VolvoTerry and jn1427 Thank this.
