I ran into a guy at the truck wash the other day. He said he was getting $0.10/mile. I asked why, he said it was because they did no background check and needed no experience.
Make sure you don't play it dumb, like that guy. -
i hope that is team driver, at least

Maybe it's one of those deals where there are 3 drivers to a truck and they get all the miles the truck runs . I've seen that before and it doesn't work out to bad still make the typical $35k -$40k first year mega company B.S.
NO WAY Anybody would driver 3,000 miles a week and make $300 before taxes and deductions, not even illegals or convicted felons would do this as there would be no point -
Please don't speak for So Cal you obviously have no clue.. Lot's of the local Van lines type places out here use those work force type places getting ex cons back into society...Shoot ,Atlas Van lines was one the most felon friendly companies of 2015

Gardner in Chino. They send you out with a trainer for about 3 weeks, even longer if you need it. They will push you into flatbed doubles. They are always short on them. At least that will get you in the door, then maybe transfer to Vans. My son works there. They hired him right out of school. But he has been around trucks all his life, with me.

maybe it was more like .54 cpm and the driver thought you might go after the job or sone other reason.
never heard tell of .10 cpm who works for that? as a solo driver at 60 mph top dollar is $6.00 per hour. in socal 60 mph can be rare..GiantBeard Thanks this. -
If you have a class a or b without any experience a moving company will hire you if you have a clean mvr and no felonies. They are always desperate for drivers with clean criminal records. They just want a person that can legally drive the truck and will do on the job training. Was in the moving biz for a long time. Was asked to train a lot of guys fresh out of cdl school
