Well I would say my favorite ting about trucking is the same thing that got me into trucking 35 years ago.

It is the feeling I get when I roll out of the rack in the morning and hear that cat engine fire up.
It is the sight of a sunrise when I top out on a hill in the smokey mountains and see the fog down in the bottoms.
The sunset over the snow covered mountains in Montana .
The fresh planted cornfields in Iowa in the spring smelling the fresh turned dirt .
Dropping off Cabbage and listening to the Jakes rattle all the way down.
A full moon night rolling across south Texas .
Dropping off the hill into Vegas on a clear night and seeing all the lights still makes me smile .

I could go on for hours about my favorite things about trucking .
I love it today as much as I did the day I bought my first truck before I even knew how to drive it .
It still makes me smile when ever I push in the air valves and start my day .

It is not the same conditions that it was 35 years ago with the laws and all the other changes but the job is still the same .
I still am paid to get things from one place to another as quickly and safely as possible with no damage to person or property .

I am one truly blessed man that I can do the thing I love and make a good living doing it.
