That brand spanking new rest area was finished 18 months before it opened up. And since, all the rest areas have been open 2 weeks. closed 2 weeks. And when those are closed, seems like the majority of the state gets closed.rocknroll81 Thanks this.

All kidding aside, it seems to be more of a budget problem.

Maybe they shouldn't be building things they have no budget to be running.
I"m thinking the same thing. Budget problems. They don't seem to be pulling in trucks as much as they used too. Used to be the coops were always packed with inspections. Don't seem em packed as much these days.rocknroll81 Thanks this. -
Are the scales in the cajon pass open lately? Last time i went through they were closed due to the fwy work.

Its tied up in court with Nevada. Nevada gave Cali money to widen the interstate Cali spent it on super scale.
