Leaving the Sarnia, Ontario terminal at 11pm on a Sunday night in January. The air is cracklin' cold outside, but I'm cozy in the cab, heater full blast and a hot cup of fresh coffee. The moon is full, the sky is clear, the roads are dry, and it's hammer down to Chicago. It was beautiful, and I'd think to myself, "Build me a bridge and I'll drive this load to Russia!!"
...That, and having breakfast at a truck stop, and when the waitress clears away my plate I order a slice of cake and more coffee, and nobody sitting nearby thinks that's weird.Blackshack46, reverber8 and scottlav46 Thank this. -
