Just log it like you do it and keep a record, when they fire you turn them into dot and take them to court.

There may be some sort of exemption the company dot auditor has granted them.

For instance. We have an account with a truckstop 5 miles down the road. Where we can grab fuel and not have to log it. Course, when the elog mandate gets implements. That's going to take 45 to 60 minutes out of our 14.

Fueling with an account doesn't generate an electronic time stamp, and is a way to fuel at an undisclosed time without having to match a time, and it would be considered falsification. Just nothing to prove it that is readily available.

Now if someone else fueled your truck for you, there would be no falsification, provable or not, but that costs something that is now done for free by mileage paid drivers, unless there is accessorial pay for fueling.
