I've seen a couple videos of his. It made me irate when he claimed to be the "most knowledgeable, handsome truck driver on YouTube". I think the only person I know of with a larger ego is Donald Trump. (I'm very conservative but don't put any stock in politics, so no attacking me. Face it, Trump is all ego.)

I saw someone mention Joe Canell a bit farther up. I watch his videos and Mark Staite's videos quite a bit because they're informative and real. Mark has a great series on Fuel Surcharge explaining by the numbers how it works. Joe is just likable and as the earlier poster said, a great story teller.

Then you have these disgraces like Abe...

If you can't make a video without using the F-bomb 75 times in a 15 min video, I have ZERO respect and ZERO use for you.

That guy wouldn't know a "Convoy" if he was stuck in one, and we obviously knows he know nothing of "running hard"

In my time out here I've seen two million plus milers drop a trailer. Some other well-seasoned drivers backing into ####, one of them said he'd been driving for 30 years and had never hit anything. Plenty of people clipping and jumping curbs.

However when it comes to the real rookies, you know the ones fresh off the bus, they tend to freeze up and sit there looking like idiots instead of actually hitting ####. It's annoying as ####ing hell to get stuck behind them when it happens but they are cautious to a fault because they have no confidence.
On the other hand, some of them are just idiots anyway and would probably still run into ####. Just haven't seen it to be as common yet.

I still call myself a rookie, and I know I am. A part of me still gets nervous when I'm backing up and that isn't something I'll ever be ashamed of. If I'm not 100% sure about my set up I'll get out and look. Call me a rookie when I don't hit your truck and the million miler on the otherside takes off your mirror.

Really pathetic...... If you couldn't handle the load in the first place, why did you take it ? You know your sleep patterns.......When I say yes on a load, I finish the job period.
