The temperature here is beautiful today. Just last Thursday I was rolling these tarps in -34°C/-29°F in Kapuskasing, ON.
Sleepy68 Thanks this. -
God that stuff looks ugly, no wonder you tarped it.
Chewy352 Thanks this. -
What do you guys run for anti-gel in that cold of weather?
-
That's one of those loads that if you pull it as a company driver, you swear to never pull as an owner operator.
'Ugly' is an understatement. The load is going to shift. It's like thing to strap down a load of springs. They can band it, shrink wrap it, add dunnage, strap it down with 40 straps...and it's still probably will shift. I don't carry pipe stakes, but if someone was stupid enough to put stupid money on it, I would buy pipe stakes for that stuff.street beater Thanks this. -
How often are your straps loosening? Doesn't look like that bad of a load, but I've never hauled one either.
-
Nothing. Straight from the pump is all that's in our tanks. Mind you, I idled that night.

johndeere4020, Dye Guardian and Sleepy68 Thank this.

I feel like a rookie when I jump in my ten wheeler, back all over the place trying to chase the trailer that isn't there -_-tsavory, skootertrashr6, Dye Guardian and 3 others Thank this.

Kinda like when I swing a corner wide in my wifes Suburban and she wants to know if I cleared with the trailer. She also makes fun of me if we pull up to a switch back kind of intersection and I angle the car to be able to see like I do in the truck, the woman loves to mess with me.tsavory, MJ1657, passingthru69 and 5 others Thank this.
