That's true. But I think you have a far greater chance of having your hood ripped off than being stabbed.

 

90% of attacks/fights/injuries that truckers will have on the road will be from arguments with:
1) codrivers
2) security guards
3) lumpers
4) trucker- cb rambos
5) trucker- fight about parking
6) trucker- fight about tv

 

a) company said there WAS no co-driver
b) a security guard would have been missed at the TS
c) why would he follow the trucker? No PV's were mentioned
d) agree
e) agree
f) agree kinda
^^^^^ I agree with the latter 3. But the fact that he 'nosed' in is circumspect in itself.
g) what's the other 10%

Hay, @TROOPER to TRUCKER ... just wondering, what's YOUR speculation on this? It's quite disheartening, to say the least.

 

The mustardseed is the only truck stop in sumner and one of the few in the Seattle area. It's not a place many drivers would choose given alternatives. It's an abnormally adversarial placeand very heavily trafficked.I've only been there twice and both times I've seen mild confrontations. If you've been into that store you'd know what I'm talking about.

 

Updated article says there is a donation hotline setup to get his body home. Nice to know whatever scumbag company he drove for cared so much about him that they won't even cover the cost to get him home. Shameful

 

Any chance you can elaborate as I've never been there.

 

They charge for overnight parking on an asteroid riddled mostly dirt parking lot and the employees are lacking in motivation on ...kinda anything. But they do have some good food from what I've had.

 

It's a Chicago outfit, I wouldn't expect any less
