Don't do an up grade at any cat dealer. You will regret it. What you should do is not allowed to talk about on here. Other than hard parts. A manifold and turbo will be a good start. Ecm work there is only one person I use but you will have to go to other sites to access him.

I'm looking at doing this also manifold and bigger turbo,,,,but do I really need to do the ecm tune? I went from a 435 to 550 1850 torque.( defiantly pulls better) now going to go from twins to single.

I put one on and got a manifold that doesn't ever leak fumes into my cab like the old stock one did. For that alone it was well worth the money. It also improved EGT's a little. Fuel mileage? Who can really say? One would have to run the same load under the same conditions a lot to really know and even so probably marginal to nil. I think people's expectations of that are always wildly unrealistic anyways.

If you loose an exhaust manifold gasket like I did , I'd say get one ...
The cat one sucks and leaks.. The pdi piece ( that someone else makes) has the cummins style slip joints.
And if you put the 2 side by side you can see the difference in size.
How much you gain or not is over my pay grade.....
