Well I got approved to go to Millis Transfer in Eden North Carolina... I will be starting the May 2nd class. In the meantime I've got over 40 days to lose weight and get my weight down and mind ready. Are there any guys in here driving for Millis and I'm choosing to stay regional what should I expect as a driving choosing Regional. Anything I need to be aware of any pros or cons versus OTR?

I've even seen some Millis daycab drivers in Columbus. They must come from that Cleveland terminal.

We also have a terminal in the southern part of Georgia right across from the Miller plant in Albany. I see regional guys there all the time.

Unless something changed in the last week or so, both of the Millis yards in Ohio are twenty miles north of Cincinnati (one's a drop lot and the other is a terminal)

I do OTR, but I talk to a friend who was in my training class who switched to regional. He said that he only gets about 2200 miles a week, and most of his money is made from detention pay; he does get home on weekends and that's why he'd rather be regional. I have no life to speak of (hence the three posts in this thread so far) so OTR works for me.

    Grijon Thanks this.
