Loves "policies" suck!

It all depends on the location. Like you never have to wait for a shower anywhere else. Don't want to wait for a shower don't take one at peak hour times like 6-8am, 11-1 and 6-8pm

 

Lol..I was about to start a rant about a policy I just ran into at Loves. I just got a new card and I rarely fuel at Loves...but I do have 357 points on there...so when I stopped in just now on for my 30 min break...I went to grab me a Snickers and use my points....but I cannot redeem my points until I accumulate 500. Very lame

 

The only bit of truth in all these trash the truckstop threads....

 

I have had fairly good experiences in Love's. There are more Pilots, but half the time you have to find somewhere else to park because their 3 spots are taken up. TA's, Petros and Flying J's are mostly ok with a few nasty ones. I guess I have gotten lucky with my showers- I haven't had to wait more than 20 min or so. Love's does have computer issues; they must be running the pumps with Windows 8.

 

Seriously Doesnt matter what time,same old song and dance!!!

Yeah, both those love's on I-30 are really bad. Last year they were tearing up half the pumps and I got stuck for about a half hour in each one. Drivers honking, no way to even change your mind and leave because the second you pulled in and realized it was a mess, there was a truck behind you as well.

 

I've been to several Love's in just the two weeks I have been back out, and the ones I have been to are just fine. Even had a shower at one, no waiting! It's a matter of location. I will say that the one thing I don't like about Love's is all the darn steps! Really??? I know everyone needs to exercise, but that gets a bit ridiculous. Especially when I'm already tired from a day in the seat.

 

Do not ever buy electronics from a loves truck stop bought a 300.00 garmin trucker GPS unit and two weeks later it quit working. Have the receipt but not the box that is at home. All I want to Do is exchange it They can keep the box and put this festive unit in it They said no. Hell I'm a long haul truck driver they expect me to keep that kind of crap with me. Now I have to use my phone as my GPS this week. Oh and this policy is if you don't like it well we not refund you just give you the credit on a loves card so you don't get your money back

 

never heard of that...tonight i had 241 points and use them a subway..
