The second blimp they sell will be to the Ohio DOT
-
After the reefer blimp.

Actually that's the skunk works logo, any of the skunk works projects generally require a security clearance.
I'm betting they are desperatly trying to repackage the stupid amount of money they spent trying to sell reconnaissance blimps. Or whatever they were doing with those. Nice try Lockheed, let it go. -
They sold atleast two recon blimls to the army. Now to see if the general public is a sucker too.
FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
Well, at the rate they've been going, you will buy it today, fill it with helium 10 years later, hardware update every day from day one. Software patches untill the developers give up. And the total price for your blimp comes out to 72 trillion dollars.

I see what you did there

Call Swift
Or CR England, they will no doubt let you be an Owner Operator as well. -
I don't think it's meant for US mainland consumption where highways are modern. It's meant for places like Africa and South America or Alaska where highway infrastructure is hard to come by. A commercial pilots license with an airship rating is definitely a rare skill set.
