Look at those words and learn contract negotiation.

It does not say one day home every week. It says one day home for every week out. So they can run you 82 weeks then give you 82 days home. In which they will take your truck, personal belongings and all, because they company will not want a truck sitting idle.

The board does not like naming names. But this board is intended to help drivers not companies.

When you're fresh out of school and new to the industry knowing the difference between putting your foot down and insubordination is a huge gray area. This job is unlike any other and being a little green it's very easy to get walked on.

He will learn to "grow a pair" as you guys put it in time but as of now it seems like this company is not a fit for his confidence level or his current ability to work around a stubborn DM.

It's easy as a veteran to say #### you to a DM when you've got years of experience and can be in a new truck in 3 days. New guys don't have that level of comfort or they simply aren't aware of the power they have in holding a clean CDL yet.

 

I am with you on this one. No normal job requires the same level of telling your "supervisor" to shove it. You have to get fed up enough to say f this and to hell with the consequences that first time.

 

And growing a pair means parking the truck on the East Coast and then doing what??!

 

Wait, don't babies only take nine months? Something seems a little fishy here.
