Hello! My hubby was pulled over at a weight station... he had NOT been drinking at all, yet when he had a breath test at the weight station, they said he blew 0.016. they sent him to the police, and was tested TWICE, and blew all clear!
Yet hubby thinks he's in trouble, because it's the weight stations' paper that are getting sent to his workplace, and NOT the police papers that showed he blew all clear.
Hubby and I are both suspicious of the man at the weight station, because when hubby blew in the machine, the man did NOT show him the results, or tell him the results right away...he took off into the building where hubby couldn't see him! so we are wondering if there are also "fishy" dealings going on
breath test problems

P.S: I told hubby I would speak to his company in his behalf...do you all think it would make things worse or better?

Nutritional supplements is what I use to get over being sick out on the road because they won't disable me from side effects like what the flu shot is doing. labels on vaccines say they are not liable if it doesn't work. I used a colan clensor detox to get rid of body odor and it worked.

I think u talking to company will make things worse. He needs to be one to talk to them
flood, John Dewart, Moon_beam and 7 others Thank this. -
^^^This.^^^
And contact the agency he tested clear at to get documentation to back him up.Texnmidwest Thanks this. -
If he used mouthwash containing alcohol his breath will show for alcohol. I do believe it's a rule of thumb to not use alcohol containing mouthwash.
Moon_beam and otherhalftw Thank this. -
interesting can you describe what the roadside testing device looked like and the one at the police department?
Chewy352 Thanks this. -
the one at the weight station was TINY, hubby said...he told me it was small enough to fit in your pocket!...but he said the one the police used was very accurate/complicated...it even showed the amount of breath you gave, showed the numbers you blew ...from what I remember hubby saying.

The proper way to give a breathalyzer requires waiting 5 or 10 minutes before administering the test so banaca or mouth wash will wear off and not be an excuse. If the officer did not do this for the field test he needs to contact a lawyer and prevent the paperwork going to the company.

he doesn't use mouth wash, or supplements while on the road... he was very tired though, he hadn't slept well.
the weight station ticked off the box that says: "possible narcotics use/possession", even though hubby doesn't use drugs at all. He lives off coffee and cigarettes and tylenol while on the road (no codeine in the tylenol)
