Known as OutlawCB on here, though he rarely posted, Russell E. Clift, KB7SEZ (also known for a time as AB7IF) passed from this life Tuesday at about 7pm. He was a good friend and the best technician I ever knew. Several members on here took my advice and sent him work and were always pleased. He didn't like to advertise on the internet and would only allow me to tell others about him by private message. He was one of the good ones and a great friend. I will miss him.

My Galaxy DX 47 HP that's converted over and peaked and tuned I'm using receives people up to 10 miles. When their is skip due to the atmosphere, I talked to someone in Omaha, Nebraska from Pennsylvania but the signal faded off.

I hate to hear that... Do you know if he was sick Mike? Just curious, I know he had not been posting here for quite some time.
His legacy and wealth of knowledge will live on in the threads here. RIP OutlawCB
