I can live without the crappy toilets that you have to squat in order to crap that hey have in some of the old places over there.

Coolest public restroom was this all stainless self cleaning unit in Switzerland. The Swiiss don't screw around with saving water, a good 10 gallons of water under firehose pressure shooting down a 6 inch hole keeps the bowl clean over there.

Starbucks will grind beans that you buy from them. When I travel I go to their store and buy beans and have them grind it to fine or whatever you prefer. If you put it in a sealed container it should be good for two weeks. No more. Throw it away after that.

I travel with ground beans, an aeropress, a sturdy cup, and a thermos bottle (for when you get water from the truck stop or hotel lobby). Even when I'm staying in a hotel I make my own coffee.

I actually enjoyed the Pilot Coffee. Thermos gave me 2 1/2 cups in my travel mug. They only charge you as a refill so its cheap. I also brough green tea bags and splenda free hot water in the TS

here's what i look at.. how often do truck stops have a star bucks in house? yes , I'm aware some do along with service plazas and shopping malls and and and. I see them but truck parking would a little bit of hassle at times I don't see a strabucks do to the area's I travel.

so, I considered a coffee bean grinder and filters when I picked up the press, decided to try it as is. water and salt, ice if available clean up glass coffee containers pretty good.

I don't see a problem keeping a grinder on board but I'll certainly keep the coffee guru's of Starbucks in mind.

Well, my wonderful wife gave me an AeroPress for my birthday... Making my first cup of Joe in the morning.

Thinking that JavaJug and possibly a manual grinder will be coming soon to join the AeroPress.

Question on grind... How course or fine of a grind should I use in the AeroPress? I got a small bag ground to somewhere in the middle.
