Not sure about NM. That would probably need a phone call to Richmond.

No, not palletized. It's stacked box by box, floor to ceiling, wall to wall, and front to back. You have roller sections that hook to stores roller ramp. As you go back into trailer you add more sections. You take a box and place it on the roller. The box slides down your rollers onto stores rollers and into the store.

How much does Abilene pay to unload a trailer?

How in the world did I miss her post... I had to go back a full page to find it. I saw where you included her comment in your replay but couldn't see the original... lol

Ok... So I stand corrected, I guess it's "No Touch" 99.99% of the time... ;-)

Leave it to @RebelChick to be part of the .01%ers... LOL

In the event you have to unload a trailer which is rare, you would be paid by the hour which is $12 per hr for road drivers.

Meanwhile in other new I've been mute for quite some time. Well couple months ago January 14 I made the decision to part ways to moved on to a private fleet, one of the largest furniture companies out doing all drop & hooks to DC's and drop lots. Left Abilene on good terms with the intention of coming back if needed. I'm settled down my new carrier, this will be the place for me until I decide to go local. Although I do miss the flexible scheduling of moving time off around and doing drive by the house every other night was great, I still would recommend Abilene to anyone looking for a small common carrier, been a nice 3 years went to many new places enjoyed all new faces met within the company, nice set of office personnel and drivers.
