    I read fine.

I just stated your average miles a day since it puts in perspective your complaints; If you are too tired drive with a 95 mile a day average, if your leg hurts at a average 95 miles a day on the freeway, you made a bad carrier choice in trucking.

The rest of your complaints are just as embarrassing. In trucking you need to be able to handle things by yourself. You don't have that skill if you are three weeks with this guy and you haven't figured out how to work things out or move on. Just stating a fact.

Trucking isn't for everyone, especially the homesick. Have you heard the rule of 10 in trucking? It goes something like this. 1 out of 10 drivers make it out of training! That is no joke. If anything that underestimates the real numbers. But, to continue --- 1 in 100 make it to a year at a training company and 1 in 1,000 make it to a year without a preventable accident.

The point is, the best advice some can give you is to quit while you are ahead.

    Toomanybikes,

Again, it's all about reading comprehension, NOWHERE in his post did he state that he is only driving 95 miles a day, he is getting low miles, because the truck broke down and his trainer took days off.

His trainer is an annoying POS and he was asking for advice on how to deal with it, once again you are two posts in and you haven't comprehended his point, but yet you insist on telling him he should just quit. You sound like a miserable little man stuck in some truck stop whose mad at the hand life gave you. Maybe you should quit trucking, go back to school, and get a formal education. Leave the internet for those who at least have a basic ability to comprehend simply concepts.

Mathematics is as fundamental as reading and writing.

My point is clear for even the worst of readers to understand.

Too many lousy trainers out there.
A simple test should be required of all potential trainers to determine if they're suitable as a trainer and can solve simple problems.
Test : Take a piece of paper and fold it in half 8 times.
If a potential trainer can't do this, he/she has no business being a trainer.

But my leg didn't hurt driving 95 miles a day! I drove more the days I DID drive. The other days were all down time because the truck went down. No big deal. Now he had home. Again,no big deal! So your point is invalid....the days I did drive I was getting 430-560.... My first week was a late start and only got 856 miles according to my check. That was 2 days of driving....this pass week only 3 days of driving. So no,I'm not driving EVERYDAY. The point was I'm pushing what little miles I can out because I'm not getting drive time....I'm not stopping because I hurt. I stopped because I ran out of time.

Maybe it's how the seats adjusted or the wallet like others suggested...
Maybe I miss home because I got things going on or a newborn, and all this downtime makes me think "#### I'd rather be home if I'm down all the time" instead of actually working my mind wonders....so before you sit there and say I should QUIT you better come at me at a different angle or understand the situation better before offering a crap opinion. There's more to my post that I'm willing to put out there. So Don't tell someone to quit because you quit....again. Good day

Do the mega's have training for the trainers or do they just let these people sign up to be a trainer?
I have worked with some incredibly smart people in my former career who are excellent at their jobs, but they couldn't train someone if their life depended on it.

Millis does have a training program for them,But, just like everything else you get a lemon.
Once they pass, they do what they want...don't get me wrong,he's a nice guy,but I feel like I'm missing out. I've been at this truckstop for 6 days now while he's at home, and have talked to other guys training, they're having an awesome time! Same with the guys from my class...now I'm gun shy and worried I may end up testing in an automatic truck, then have that restriction on my CDL

6 days?????!!!!! WTF!! I would have nailed him to the cross for making me live in the truck at a truck stop for 6 days. You need to call Millis and switch trainers. tell them what happened and demand it.
