I was actually in orientation 2/15 in Fontana. When and where did you go?
I'll laugh my ### off if you tell me your truck number is 9283.Ghostridah21 Thanks this. -
Anyone a company driver? Looking for more info on idc.
-
I live in San Antonio, how's the freight on the Freedom Board in and out of Texas?
-
They dont do training.
-
No experience in Texas, but my understanding is it kinda sucks.
I was told there's a lot of freight within Texas. A bunch of short hops, but none pays that well.HappyHappyHappy Thanks this. -
They do train new drivers. Actually, looks to be decent. You drive, trainer sits in passenger seat during entire process. I'm not sure how long though.

This is what I got from the recruiter:
"The job would be running containers in the Southeast as far west as I-35 and North of I-80. The thing I like about this job is that it is round trip so you will never have to wait for your next load, you are paid empty or loaded. You would need a HazMat and TWIC card within 30 days of being hired but keep your recipts, the company will remburise you for it! Pay depends on experience. " the job would be out of jacksonville fl -
So, if you want to lease on with this company, you'd have to have some money saved up to put a down payment on a truck? Trying to see if I'm understanding it right because it looks like the companies listed on the site require down payments....
-
No, but my recommendation is to have money down. Two of the three require zero down. The one that requires a down is much less expensive overall and is better than regular financing. I will pay over $90,000 less than the zero down option, including my down payment and will have the truck payed off sooner. Also, if you don't have the small amount in the bank for a down payment at the one that does require it, my opinion is you have absolutely no business starting a business. Another thing is I have no one telling me what I can or can't do with the truck.
