I recently purchased this trailer with the Quick Draw system to retract the pins in order to slide the tandems. Often times after making a delivery and pulling away from the door, there would be no air at the Quick Draw valve. Another thing the trailer does is the rear brakes won't hold in order to slide the tandems. The wheels would roll freely as if the brakes didn't apply at all. However, the brakes work well when driving with the pedal and the trailer hand brake.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

Brakes are out of adjustment. They need manual adjustment periodically.

I manually adjust all my brakes once a month. Very easy to do.

Park brakes are spring applied if they are in adjustment and still won't hold you need to get yourself some new brake chambers.

Have you built up enough air? My trailer needs ~90psi for the pins to reliably retract.

Also, with the red knob in, build 120-130psi and then press the brake to the floor ~5 times. This should adjust your slack adjusters and get the trailer to hold firm when you release the air.

When I hook up to one of those air slide trailers, many times the pins won't retract. All I do is drive the unit about 100 feet, get out and pull that little lever, and then the pins go in every time.

Both parking knobs need to be pulled out, too.
