The companies should just start throwing up towers everywhere. Especially the numerous grain silos in the "dead lands" most drivers are forced to cross. With not that much going on in those areas, it's time to put the rural emptiness to use!!

The towers ARE going up. Cells have been added. coverage is improving. But you gotta have a newer phone to receive the new LTE.

Someone on here sounds like a broken record because of their experience in the past. When they have no idea what service is like these days.

One carrier has added 10,000 new cells. With fcc permision to use rural towers. My old phone has better coverage but it's not new so it can't give current coverage. With one carrier. With the other carrier, My new phone has better coverage then the old phone. I went to Casper Wy last week and was surprised at the new coverage. All the way to Casper.

ALL 4 carriers have improved. And we'll all see it with newer phones.

Some of us could only imagine if winter actually looked like this. Most of the time, it's just a sausage-fest while waiting for the roads to reopen.
Eh, if I ever did find myself back out there, a snowboard and snowshoes for sure!!

If your going to talk about someone,.. you should at least have the courtesy to use their name.

Why do you think I have no idea what service is like 'These Days' ?? Do you believe I've been under a rock? I can tell you I know exactly what my service is like,.. its fantastic.

LTE is not new,.. Verizon had the first total LTE network since 2011. Its 2016 already. You mean to tell me its taken Sprint 5 yrs to play catch up?

Sprint has had LTE for a long while now. But in typical Sprint fashion,.. they are slow to deploy it network wide. They did the same with 4G. Sprint only had 4G in about 5 major cities when everyone else had it nationwide.

Also,.. Just because you elect to keep using older phones that revert to 3G instead of 4G when on an LTE tower is not the networks fault. At least Verizon upped the bandwidth speed for 3G so customers with older 4G phones would not be completely left behind.

And as far as a broken record,.. this is exactly what I am talking about. I can dig up 2 yr old posts where you have been saying the exact same thing about Sprint adding more towers,.. getting better,.. coverage is improving.
Yet they are still a 3rd rate carrier compared to AT&T and Verizon.

Sorry, if you dont like hearing that,.. but thats where Sprint stands on the broad scope of wireless carriers.

    More power to you partner.

My brother inlaw is like you in that regard. He does not like the heat at all. Both of you can keep the cold.

I think I must have been a pygmy in some south American jungle in a past life,.. because thats the kind of weather I love.
