How can i get a cdl with no money?

    Look up aggregate/material haulers on indeed or in your local newspaper. Or just take note of the "gravel haulers" you see in your area.

    Will do. The first result I've seen is Aggregate Haulers of Texas. You mentioned TX above. Is that where you're from? If so, do you have a sense of how much opportunity there is these days for the kind of work you've mentioned? I wonder because of what's happened with oil and how that's hurt some people there. I don't know if maybe there's a surplus of drivers because some have lost their work in the oil business and moved into other areas.

    I was looking at CDL schools and the cheapest I found was $15,000

    I don't have 15,000, financial aid won'tcover the whole thing either

    I recall a post a few months ago that the guy paid $18,000.00 for cdl school.
    Millis Transfer only charges $500.00
    I think Western Dairy Training Academy is free if you work for them after graduation; www.wdtmilk.com

    I do jot have a CDL, had a permit a while ago

    I'm interested in local driving only, I have 2 small kids, at the very most regional, but OTR isdefinitely not happening

    Some food service will hire with only a cdl permit. It may not be on the websites, but they do.
