This guy has 4 tanks two on each side. Makes me think of Australia and crossing the continent. Plus the extra room behind the cab over. Mad maxish.
How much fuel capacity do you need?

I would say 2 100 or 150 gallons would be good. Any more than that and you'd be hauling a bunch of unnecessary weight. Even when going north and fuel is cheaper in West Virginia vs Pennsylvania I can top off my tanks and usally deliver and get back to cheaper diesel.

More fuel capacity= less fuel receipts.....make your own deductions as to why that might be an advantage. If one was concerned with weight, just because you have the capacity doesn't mean that you have to fill them full.
My truck has dual 85 gallon tanks, I fuel just about every day that I run. That setup works for my operation. -
Two 150s and that I think is a DROM box. I've seen that truck before, it is an Argosy.
There is another I saw a while ago and just saw it a couple weeks ago. It is a truck on a dedicated with two brothers driving it from coast to coast, this is all they do, one customer two loads. The truck has four tanks on it I remember they were 150s, they fill up in Indiana on the way out to west and make a complete circle then come back to fuel in Indiana. -
They were in Oakland KY. Near fort cambell.
