Sitting here in the empty trailer dirt lot after dropping loaded trailer waiting. After I dropped mine 3 company trucks came in, dropped their loaded trailer, hooked to mt and out of here. Nearest truck stop, 20 miles east, 15 miles west

Finally did get a pplan. Pick up tomorrow in Faribault and going to Corrine. Planners were saying that they were setting up loads based on PTA and that I was 2nd on the list, then asked if that was true, then why did the 3 company trucks that came in after me and had PTA's after mine, how did they get loaded ahead of me. Within 3 minutes I had a plan, and it was my terminal manager that got me the load, not the planners.

My PTA came and went this morning without a pplan, but not too long went.

Picked up in Worland, WY, delivering in Golden, CO on Wednesday.
A bit too much time on the load, but who knows how long I might have sat if I had turned it down.

I didn't get to Worland until around 1700 and was deciding if I wanted to just shut down close to there.
Then I heard the NOAA weather forecast.
Wind River area is supposed to be getting between 1 and 5 feet of snow between tonight and tomorrow evening.
    Yes... Feet!

So I am back at the Walmart in Casper tonight.
It may snow a little by and around morning, but the heavy stuff isn't due to hit until later in the afternoon and evening.

Tomorrow I'll be headed down closer to Denver to get out of the way of the rest of the storm. Once below Cheyenne it clears up, for the most part.
So it'll either be Johnson's Corner again, or the TA west.

Well I just gotta ask, are you sure that they weren't preplanned before they got there?

Well it just brings to mind the rumor of Swift deciding to take care of company trks first, and leave the O/O's for last. I really don't want to believe that's true. But if it is, its sad, its the writing on the wall, that things are going to get really bad.

In a way, your nx ld sucks, your headed right into the path of the storm crossing now from the west, and even in the Great Lakes region. Be safe, be careful.

Yes, 2 offers them where preplanned on Sunday, still with a pta at least 1 hour after mine, and the 3rd one had a pta of 2 hours after mine and he was planned while parked next to me. I am watching that weather. They are saying Sydney should be getting around 2-4 inches tomorrow. I worry more about the wind.

    TA West, right on schedule.

There was no snow when I woke up this morning in Casper, and very little wind going down I-25.
With a 8k load of cans it made for a perfect day.

I got here early enough to have no trouble parking and no wait for a shower.
Nice shower, too. Really hot water, and a lot of pressure. I don't find that combination very often.
Salmon, green beans and a baked potato will round out a very nice day.

I have a 1100 live unload tomorrow morning about 4 miles from here. (Not Miller, but right across the highway from there.)

It sure was nice staying just ahead of that big storm. It felt like I was surfing a big wave or something.

Stuart, IA. Was planning on getting to Avoca but had enough of this wind today. Looking at the weather from here to at least Omaha the winds are staying at 18mph out of the S and SSE. Going to be a very long drive. Now just hoping that this snow storm hurries and veers north out of SLC

I'm just a head of you, sitting at the TA in Council Bluffs with an 11 am delivery in Omaha. I could tell it was kind of windy, but it didn't blow me around at all. I guess that 44,000 lb load helped.

It was bad this morning when I was empty going from Worthington, MN to Albert Lea and then south from Faribault to here. All of 24k in the box. Tomorrow will be interesting
