Hmm. My car will float gears same as the truck. Prolly cause it's old and got character.

 

Wait till you have been driving for a year or two. You'll randomly get thoughts in your head like... "Wow... I'm driving this big Mother F... down the road." "This is really happening." etc.... Cool stuff really.

 

Yup ... Tis True... And such a rush when it does.

 

Had a 65 VW bus for a while and it drove better floating the gears.

 

I used to have an old S10 that behaved the same way. Lol

 

I almost tore out reverse in the wife's Jeep because it's in the wrong dang place!!!!

 

Dont know how many times ive slamed the brake pedal to the floor of my pu before starting it.

 

Actually overheard stuff like that when trainees were talking on the cell phone...

"Oh yeah, I'm using the Jake Brake and everything!"

 

The first day back in my cobalt after a week out, I looked for the Jake brake when going down a hill on the way home. It was a doh moment.

 

Double clutched my Jeep a couple times- then I remembered it has a synchromesh manual transmission. Lol
