If they don't grant it you won't have to work for years after the lawsuit settlement.

And I find it funny that a surrogate light switch flipper would actually count.
I guess before auto switches were invented they simply hired people outside their own faith to do the task?

Both ways are the ultimate in hypocrisy, in my opinion.
From what I've read in the Bible, both old and new, hypocrites are near the lowest of the low.

The only way to really fulfill the 'no work' requirement would be to retire to bed at the beginning and stay there until the end, never moving from that spot.
Not even to go the the rest room, because that requires a certain amount of 'work'.

If you define 'work' as a conscience effort of will to accomplish a task, even staying in bed for a whole day violates the mandate because it would take some effort and will power to do so. That would be work.

    Yes, go that way.
Force the issue to get what you want.

That IS the Christian way, after all.
That is how Jesus taught us, right?

He NEVER said to turn the other cheek, and thus to take our lumps in this life for what we believe in.
No, He said to fight back with the sword or the legal system.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

You implied the use of force through legal means to obtain money if a company didn't grant a demand for certain days off based on religious belief.

    OK.
So, how do YOU define 'work'?
