I can't speak for other places, but Illinois isn't usually too worried about the driver cruising along in the right lane maybe a mile or 2 over the limit. They want that fool running hammer down in the left lane driving like an idiot. There are enough of those that they don't have to worry about the tickets a judge might look at the officer and go, "Seriously? Is this a joke?" Even the construction photo enforcement units are reported to have a 5 mph allowance, (although I wouldn't push it.)

Too many girlfriends was the problem . Who's got time for a seatbelt ? Ps I wouldn't have said a word , I would have called the judge or hired a lawyer

It doesn't feel right without a seat belt on. I grew up during the whole click it or ticket craze and have always buckled up.

Came out of Manteno il one day and a state cop was standing in the middle of the road and "pulled" me over. Pretty nice guy just doing his job really. But I'm in a 2015 peterbilt and there's 1970s clunckers driving past. Why pull over the brand new truck with discs? And elogs. And a really high safety rating?

 

Proof that even with a large ego, one is not untouchable.
