Set to start Celadon soon, any thoughts from Celadon drivers?

    CDA has accepted me in their program and my plan is to be there in a few weeks after finishing my notice at work.

    Does anyone have some recent experience at their facility in IN?

    Any opinions about the team aspect that they require you to do?

    Information in general will be helpful.

    I do not see that they go anywhere close to Boston. Thanks for the info and I will check it out.

    @JohnBoy is a trainer at Abilene. He could tell you if they do or dont hire from your area. Check out his Abilene thread. Abeline might start you out at a higher rate and when your done training you can go solo.

    Driver Lease Purchase at Celadon is the same as anywhere else you will live in the Truck. I own Trucks and from the Hip you either make money or you can lose everything.
    I would drive company and get a feel and ask Drivers but mind opinions vary ie:(to embarrassed to tell you they Net half of what the Greeter Earn at Walmart.

    My goal is is to, yes, get a feel and acclimate to the lifestyle. Leasing? No way until I know what I am doing and have a good understanding of the industry. Chances are i will stick to being a company driver.

    I know they all will but I sold cars for 5 years and trust me, I am not doing anything that i do not want.
