I nosed in once at Jubitz in Portland, OR. Mistake. BIG mistake. I wound up having to ####-near do a 90-degree blindside back at 4am in the dark, in a very tight situation. Took me 30 minutes to get out of there and I was lucky not to hit someone. It would have taken me an extra 5 to just back in. I have never again made that mistake. ONE guy, parked up a little too far and you're going to have to roust him to move because you were too lazy to park right in the first place. Because you're better off rousting him to move 5 feet than risk taking out his grille.
Nosed in at the truckstop?

^^ And waking up sleeping drivers who were parked right is a very bad scene just waiting to happen. Some guys don't like being awoken from a deep sleep and are very easily agitated, and some are not so bad. Trouble is you can't know who is who so be prepared for anything, and I mean anything if you're going to go around knocking on trucks at 04:00.
If I'm parked correctly and you want me to move because of your laziness and/or poor skills then maybe I'll move if some cash is transferred from you to me for my trouble, otherwise I'm going back to bed after photographing the situation and appropriate names and numbers.Last edited: Apr 4, 2016

Funny how this driver doesn't want HIS tractor tore up, but does not seem to mind greatly raising the likelihood of him tearing up someone else's hood due to his own idiocy and/or leaving his asssszz 10 feet out in the aisle making it more difficult for others to navigate and back. Talk about selfish and me me me
MidWest_MacDaddy and tucker Thank this. -
Well he did say he only did it if he cld do so safely, and always tries to park in the back of stops so there is less traffic. He was sure to go into detail that sometimes you have to back in because the situation wont allow anything else safety wise. He only recommended pulling in forward if the situation allowed for it. But if he cld do so safely he always did so. But I guess if the money is coming out of your pocket instead of the companies, your outlook becomes different.

Seen a guy try to nose in recently but it was too tight. He took out another guys mirror while trying to get back out. If you're trying to back in and it won't fit it's a lot easier to get out of it.

Well if they ever become an O/O with a $5,000 deductible and all the money is coming out of their pocket, they just might look at things differently. When you got a company paying for everything, who cares.Long FLD Thanks this.

I nose in alot. Usually have a better view than a bunch of trucks going in and out. Plus I can parade around nekkid if I want without pulling the curtains - l o l
