Thanks, I had the interview on Friday, got an offer and I was sent to get drug tested...
Now I'm on eggshells as I wait, every phone call I get, my heart starts racing lol -
Hireright (aka DAC) operates under their same laws as credit reporting agencies (like Experian) and you have to grant permission for an employer to pull it in regards to employment consideration. Lucky you if you score the job! ☺

It funny that Stevens runs a credit check and starts out at what .26
drvrtech77 and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
It's more about seeing how much debt you have. In their eyes people with a lot of debt show as a higher risk of stealing frieght to pay off debt.
WildTiger1990, blairandgretchen, FerrissWheel and 2 others Thank this. -
I've always just borrowed money to pay my debts.

With Stevens low pay, they expect the drivers to pilfer.
I doubt Coca-Cola will even check the credit. They might for sales people that collect cash or pad sales.TROOPER to TRUCKER and AnthonyM757 Thank this. -

Why would they check credit? I can see it if your trying to be o/o. I never have lost one due to credit and I have a bankruptcy on mine but havent ever had company run one either.

You should be fine. A lot of truckers have bad credit. As long as you're not touching cash you should be ok. Congrats on the job!
