This is hilarious, called Choy , and first very hard to understand, he asks how long willing to stay out , I say 3 weeks, then after a long pause he says he requires to be out for 4 weeks at a time. REALLY???? What planet are these people from that they would expect someone to stay out for a month at a time. Run driver Run !

Most expect 4 weeks? I know I've been off the road for about 6 months, but in the 24 previous years that I was on the road I had never heard of a company expecting you to be out for a month at a time. What has happen to my beloved trucking industry? And if you have to stay out 4 weeks to make a living at a job, you definitely need to look a little harder for another company.

I'd imagine it also depends where you live. If you don't live in an area that a company runs very much, they typically want you to stay out longer.

We are looking for drivers who want to stay out that long. We are not trying to trying to hide the fact that we are looking for drivers that want to stay out that long. There are a growing number of drivers that actually live in there trucks on a full time basis. We aren't advocating that either. Me and my wife are empty nesters I drive here and she rides. When I retire I can sit at home. Right now I am getting paid to travel and see the country. We take off where we want to when we want to. Normally somewhere that is advantageous to both us and the company. So the company is using that as a recruiting tool. Run Hard play hard. That is our attitude. IF you don't agree with our philosophy pass us by if you want to know more get in touch with us.

Sort of like how taxi cab drivers travel and tour their city everyday.

This guy called me and left a voicemail cussing me out. I didn't even know who he was until I saw this thread and saw the guy named "Choi." That is what it says in my YouMail inbox, Choi Inbok. Thanks, Choi, for cussing me out on my YouMail.
