At the Hook in Sioux Falls, easy day but it will put me at running early in the morning being able to shut down early the next 2 days. Haven't had Denny's in forever, I swore it off but kind of wanting biscuits and gravy, grease is my favorite food group.

So picked up at Nordic in Rockmart, GA and I picked up 42k lbs and just went across a CAT scale at 79620 with half tanks. Odd, considering my weight with full tanks and 44k was 78.6k. Looks like a call to dispatch tomorrow is in order, plus a few trips thru the scale when I get empty to figure out exactly how much they snuck on.
-
Why would dispatch care? It isn't like you work for Fed/UPS which charge by the weight/distance. OTR companies quote the customer a price to move their load from one location to another(or others if multi-stop). That load could be 1 box, or 1 truck load. They don't care how much it weighs as long as it's legal, especially reefer freight which is typically a heavy load.Wheeler0811 Thanks this.

Maybe because I was instructed to notify them if something like this occurred? And since the weight both quoted and bol is significantly different from the actual weight, maybe they charge a fee. Since neither of us works dispatch or billing for Magnum, I'm going to take the 30 seconds to at least inform them as instructed. You don't like that? I don't care.

Doing a 4 drop for Milles F&F. Love these. Never worry about a place to park. People are always friendly. Load out of Chicago heights steel. Called to see about parking on the road in, he said not a good idea, not to safe. At the TA in Gary.

Chill, Capt. This happens all the time in trucking, you act like this is something new. You place to much importance on your existance in the trucking universe. Besides, you have me confused with someone who places value on your opinion. With arrogance like that, I can see why snackbar is in a rush to get the flying #### out of that place.tucker Thanks this.
