I spent 3 years at SNBC and I was never asked to to anything dangerous or illegal. I made decent money there, was always treated well. No major complaints.

I passed the 6 month mark with SNBC in January. I'm OTR. Miles/pay have been on the upswing, I almost never have to drive at night, have worn a chem suit only twice since I started, and I have never been asked to do anything unsafe. In fact the opposite is true. When the weather's gotten bad we've been reminded of our stop work authority.
In short, as a starter company I give Schneider a thumbs up. Yes, there are some annoyances. Don't get me started on the ever-elusive performance bonus! However, for me, the good outweighs the bad. -
Performance bonus, LOL, love it! never seen it

Any body have info on the bulk regional position out of Seville, OH? Or just bulk regional in general?
-
Same thing as Bulk OTR except they pay you less per mile because you're "regional".
-
I can tell you this, I'm OTR and have been really busy for the past couple of months, quite a few relays for the regional guys. One benefit of being regional is the ability to go to the same customers. It is nice to get to know a specific area and the customer, much less stress. They normally only run between 500 and 600 miles a job, but may have shorter runs and could be up to 3 or 4 a week on the short runs with more time at home, I'm sure they get to do 34s at the house. Maybe a regional guy can chime in....

Thank you for all the info!

I start with Schneider bulk on the 25th in Houston. Anyone have any advice on what to expect as far as training and hometime
-
Depends on how much you want to run. You can be home every week in Houston but you won't make any money doing that. The training will be good. It will seem long and tiresome but you will learn a lot. They have what they call unloading simulators, which are trucks and trailers that you have to unload into a water tank. You will grow to hate them but they are good training. You got in just before the vicious Houston heat gets here so lucky you.

Is the training 7 days a week?Leviathan Tube Thanks this.
