Oddly enough, he was parked facing South on the shoulder of PA 437 in Mountain Top, PA just south of Crestwood Rd. Odd, because PA 437 south of Crestwood Rd. is restricted for 102" trailers longer than 24' in length. He was hooked to a 53' X 102". I pulled alongside to see if he was lost and needed help getting back to a legal route, but the driver's seat was empty.

Well I follow F2F, and wish them success. It's no secret that Bill wants those who partner with him to succeed.

I posted this because I thought that Bill might be interested in the fact that one of the drivers he's partnered with may be putting him in a precarious situation by exposing him to fines for pulling his trailer on a route that's restricted to that type of trailer.

I'm sure that Bill knows where his trucks are, so I didn't call out the truck number.

.......So instead of calling the office (quite sure it's easy to find the number) or sending Bill a PRIVATE message....you figured you would just start a new thread highlighting what a F2F truck was doing that may or may not have been wrong.....If an o/o leased to F2F was given a ticket for being on a restricted route that burden is not on F2F its on said owner of the truck....but im sure you already knew that....again I'm just wonder why start a new topic highlighting this fact when its quite clear that F2F has been catching plenty of grief on this site....but you care about them and it wasn't your intention to add fuel to the fire.....my bad

Oh yeah I've been up there quite a few times. You gotta come up off I-80 exit 262 and stay away from the 81 exits to get to those places.

Actually, the I-81 exit to 309 South is the best option if you're coming from the north. There is a truck restriction on 309 South, but only when PennDot decides that it's snowy / icy enough to warrant it. Last year, there was significant construction done to make that route even safer for CMVs, so the restriction was never in place during the winter of 2015/2016.

And you are correct, from the South, exit 262 is the route of choice to Mountain Top. PA.
