Do you have your own special throne and plaque at the lunch counter for when you regale the mere mortals of business and trucking with your expertise?

Hey Bob, I feel sorry for you, I mean that, I truly do...Like I've told my oldest son, there are some in this world that truly have to learn every lesson the hard way....Right or wrong, one needs to get past it and move on, lesson learned and don't repeat it again....Harping and continually dwelling on a perceived or actual wrong done to you will only end up bringing you down further, and those around you....Over the years, I've seen it happen many times, and you know what, at the end of the day it don't really mean nutthin...
Also, continuing your one-line hate comments towards others does nothing more than discredit anything valid you may have to say or help your cause...
Years ago, real men sat down, talked to each other about their problem and hopefully worked out their differences... Sadly, those days are gone and have been replaced by the cell phone, texting, internet bashing, keyboard rambos, Q com bashing, etc, etc....Furthermore, many young people growing up today have lost badly needed social skills necessary for effective communication.....popcorn169, spectacle13, MidWest_MacDaddy and 6 others Thank this. -
You bore me with your drivel. You and Midwest Daddy should stand side by side with each other on a dais and pontificate.
But you and the cheerleaders are still missing the point that billy has been living the high life off the o/O's -
The moderating team has made an effort to let every viewpoint in this discussion be heard, with particular care to maintain the neutrality of the site by not treating Farm2Fleet with any favoritism.
While most of our members who have expressed critical viewpoints of Farm2Fleet have done so civilly (though sometimes hotly), BobSakamoto's post history has clearly devolved into trolling. Due to this and an implied physical threat against another member, he has been banned.
I want to be completely clear: BobSakamoto was not banned because of his criticism of Farm2Fleet, and those who have a critical view of Farm2Fleet are not in any danger for expressing themselves or continuing to express their views. This ban was solely because BobSakamoto displayed a clear pattern of inappropriate behavior towards other members and ignored warnings to follow the site rules.
All sides are welcome to continue this discussion of Farm2Fleet. Please be respectful of each other while doing so.
PM myself or Bullhaulerswife with any concerns about moderating policies.popcorn169, redoctober83, Bumper and 13 others Thank this. -
I'm an employee of BBB and Mrs. BBB. After almost a decade on the road, I took a job at the offices of F2F last May. I've been asked not to engage in this, and I've tried not to. I may get in hot water for this post, but I'll accept the consequences and take my lumps. Yes, I might actually get in trouble for defending my boss. Ironic, is it not?
F2F fell behind on O/O settlements. No one has denied this. I don't work in the accounting side of it, but it's my understanding that we're pretty close to caught up. Some O/Os are as much as a week behind at this point, some are caught up. This is an improvement over the 4th quarter last year, in which we were as much as 3 weeks behind. To catch up, we've been paying out money the day we receive it. Cost-cutting measures are being implemented as I type this, to trim the fat at the office level. At least one office position has been eliminated, with BBB working double shifts to save that money. At this rate, we should have everyone caught up by the end of April and enough money in reserve by the end of May to weather the summer slowdown. That's what we're all hoping, anyway.
I believe, but do not know for sure, that BBB and Mrs. BBB haven't taken any pay from F2F in months. I do know their lifestyle is hardly lavish. I looked up their home's value on Zillow. They bought it in 2014. The price they paid for their house is about 10% higher than the current approximate value of the house my father, who was a mechanic, bought in 1986 (value provided by Zillow). It's less than 2,000 square feet, with less than an acre of land, on a lake in rural Marion County, Tennessee. If it was financed with a mortgage, their payment should be about $70 to $100 more than what I pay for rent on a 2-bedroom apartment in a working-class neighborhood. Again, hardly lavish. For comparison, my grandmother had a second home on the lake in an adjacent county, which my grandfather bought on the salary of a TV repairman. Tennessee lakefront property is not like being on Lake Tahoe. They have one Benz, which is worth about $6,000 less than my 2012 Ford Taurus according to Kelley Blue Book. Mind you, I'm one of the lowest-paid people in the company - I'm not management.
The OP on this thread was offered a FleetOne PlusChek in payment on the Friday his settlement was due. Read that sentence again. He was caught up. He was offered a payment to remain current on his settlements. He refused that, demanding direct deposit. I have the emails. Direct deposit doesn't go through instantly. It takes a business day, at least. Friday afternoon is too late to schedule an ACH (direct deposit) to go through before the following Monday night/Tuesday morning. That's just how banking works. See http://thefinancebuff.com/why-is-ach-slower-at-some-places-than-others.html for more information about direct deposit.
The OP abandoned his trailer at the shipper where he was supposed to be picking up a load on Monday morning for Tuesday delivery. The first word that anyone in dispatch heard about any of this, was at 7:29pm Sunday evening when he sent an email to dispatch stating he would not pick up the load until his direct deposit came through. I was working weekend dispatch that evening. He had a return trip booked as well, which he also did not pick up. These are loads that he personally booked on Friday by calling the freight broker, not loads that we booked or offered to him. Two of our O/O partners picked up and delivered the two loads, salvaging our relationship with the customer. We still haven't received our trailer, which is still a few hundred miles from us last I heard, about 2 weeks ago. I don't know if he sent in the PrePass or license plate.
I am looking at the email conversation he had with dispatch that weekend as I type this.
Those are the facts, with a little bit of conjecture, opinion, and forward-looking statements that can be identified by words and phrases like "should" and "hope to".spectacle13, HDFatboy, Lone Ranger 13 and 7 others Thank this. -
Thank You TTR !!
But I expect for him to be back as someone else soon unless TTR blocks IP addresses.Last edited: Apr 15, 2016

Your father was quite a man to see the fall, be owed a great sum of money, yet do in essence pro bono work for a debtor as they dissolved. That is very noble, however that doesn't assume any particular contractor could afford or would even entertain doing that for f2f. Some simpletons of us would strangely expect do be paid as noted in a contract for services rendered and leave the "long view" to the other geniuses who are so far ahead of the rest of us in their thinking that they are truck drivers too.

Feels like driving up to the scene of a major accident! Any casualties? Who's the guy in the suit handing out business cards?
Dale thompson Thanks this. -
Oh oh oh... Can I wear a crown and hold a golden tire thumper in one hand... With a couple lot lizards to carry my long velvet cape behind me as I walk through the truck stop too?
Wow, with this look and my awesome Wayne/White Vocal skills the lot lizards will be soon swooning... (Don't tell Mrs. Mac)
And who would have guessed that simply sharing basic accounting concept of Accounts Recievables would separate me from those "mere mortals"... Had I known I would have done this shortly after signing up here.4mer trucker Thanks this.
