Hell if the parking lot is paved it's to upscale for me. Bunch of people sipping tea with their pinkies sticking out.

Strange...OP asks experienced drivers for advice on how to get rolling again...Experienced drivers give TONS of options on how to get rolling again...OP responds that he doesn't want to drive anymore today with 4 hours left on his clock...OP doesn't get rolling again.

He's going to wish he'd driven 4 hours east while he could. Ain't going nowhere tomorrow if he's in Denver now. Although driving today is going to be treacherous but it beats closed roads likely tomorrow

But it's all the shippers fault and his company. Heck what ever happened to a person figuring out how to solve a problem and roll on

I agree, but to me the problem starts with the BS line that this is the way THEY load trucks, he takes is as this is his only option when he makes the decision if the truck is properly loaded or not. I wouldn't have left but then I would have returned for them to adjust the load to what is needed IF I couldn't move my axles.

Honestly, I doubt any scale master outside of CT or CA would even check unless you got into an accident or hit something. The length laws in most states isn't one of those offenses they go looking for, but if you screw up it's something they will use to nail you even more. Slide your tandems until you get under 34k on that trailer and roll out.
It still cracks me up when drivers are over on their trailer and talk about sliding the 5th wheel too.
insertnamehere, northernhopper and pigeon river trucking Thank this. -
If he couldn't move his axles true
But in this case, they can.
