Yeah, with that #### bearing down, I'd have run the back roads just to get ahead.

Shipper didn't load the wrong way all op has to do is move tandems and he's good to go.Not one dot will say anything.Shippers have many trailers to load everyday, its the drivers job to tell shipper how theywant the load distributed.I think the op is making more of an issue out of this then it has to be.

I think the OP just wanted a few days off, purposely misread the atlas (or just made stuff up) and is shutting down in Denver so he can get snowed in and hang out at that bar all weekend. You could have hit the bar in NE too.

It's a new mentality coming up. Another decade or so and all the "old fashioned" truckers will be dead and gone, replaced with the new breed.
Not saying there is necessarily anything wrong with the new breed. Just saying they do things differently than we do ... They bring a different attitude to the job that used to be a lifestyle.

They must have got their act together since the last time I was there. It was common to pick up a load 28,000 in the nose and 36,000 on trailer.

    You are under gross.

If you can't slide it legal, you need to go back to the shipper to get it adjusted.
