been seeing that more and more lately its a sham drivers letting others push them like that

 

I was at wheeler last Sat and had to have a 2 hour contest to find out whos ##### is bigger till they figured out this ain't burger king , you get it my way or not at all ...load it my way or goodbye !

 

I had a guy about 2 years ago do a "hurry up" to me....

I was loading at Chicago Plate in Gary,In And anyone that has ever been there knows you can pull in 5-6 trucks at a time to load/unload etc..

Anyway, Im loadsing 2 stand-up coils...Tarpin' the whole 9 yards.

Behind me sits "That guy" You know everyone knows that Guy in his early to mid 50's with a New-er Peterbilt pulling a Conestoga.. Grayish hair and full Trimmed Beard to perfection at a husky 250 pounds at 5'10".. You guys know what Im talking about .A very 'comfortable' driver.

Anyway- As Im tucking the tarp and bungeeing...His smart ### says "I'd like to be home for dinner,And I live 4 hours away in ohio..

I just stop what I'm doing..Look up at him as Im sweatin' like a Pig slaving to the grind..I assess what Im dealing with(New Peterbilt-New Conestoga and a Husky middle-aged bearded smart-alec)

I say.."Your about 1 artery left available before that ticker shuts down for good, Just keep slidin' that cover over and getting impatient and see what happens".. He left furious and cried to the shippers table to get me to hurry up.

Yeah they go all over but i try get as close to my outbound from Nebraska as possible , rates are OK but nothing to write home about ...they load fast .
