For all of you who are inquiring about hometime. The way I work my time at home is like this. Out on the road for 12 days then I come home for 2 days then I go back out for 11 days and come home for 3 days. It works out I get Saturday and Sunday off the first weekend then Friday, Saturday, Sunday off on the 2nd time home. You are entitled to have 5 days off in a 28 day period. You can take it however you want like if you want to be out for 3 weeks then have 5 days off then be out for 3 weeks again that is fine. I get to take my truck home for my time at home. They used to bobtail me home but to save money I usually get home with an empty trailer that way I am ready to go for my next load right from the house.
In regards to the trucks. Some of their trucks are crap and some are good. It is the luck of the draw on what truck you get. I had a 2003 and a 2005. The 2003 was the better of the two. It was cleaner, more powerful and had a better turning radius. -

what does schnider ask on there phone interviews

My opinion on Schneider was based on the 90's and what I heard and read. They are too egotistical in print and other ads. I did apply there but they were picky even though my accident on record was not major. They did offer 1c more a mile to start than Swift at the time. I am happy where I am at and have more flexibility and freedom than I hear from Schneider drivers that I talk to.
note..it is nice to pass Schneider drivers once again. -
were do u work

Every company boasts their pay and high miles...etc. Otherwise they wouldn't get anyone to work for them. I very rarely hear of a Schneider driver sitting. It happens like it does anywhere, but I don't hear too many comments about Schneider drivers sitting. Picky is a good thing and if there is something on your record, they are sure to find someone JUST as qualified that has no speck on their record.

I have a suggestion for ya. Lots of questions you are asking have already been asked before. Just do a simple search on this site and you will find a ton of answers.
Other than that, if you want to, spend a day and think of ALL the questions you have instead of posting one question at a time.
