Well i just got a 2005 kw t600 with a mxs c15 acert. truck was running well and driving fine until today.
First the engine was idling and the engine started missing. It stopped missing and after suddenly the truck just turned off. After that the truck starts up but only on alott of brake kleener and only runs if im spraying it. pedal to the floor just shuts down. filled the tanks up with fuel. i pumped the fuel filter alot still nothing. also charged the batteries just incase
What should i check tomorrow? Check valve, fuel line fitting anything else?

So did you run it out off fuel???
Is this why you filled tanks after it quit -
Exm power first. If it ran rough before stallin it could be a fuel problem
Peterbiltt Thanks this. -
Have you changed fuel filters lately? If you did and if you have one on the frame rail did the oring on the threads get installed correctly? Kind of sounds like you got air in the system. When you pump the primer make sure you crack the plug on the left of it to bleed air ( it should be marked bleed or something) and when you get fuel coming out tighten it and pump the primer till it gets really firm. Just my .02

no filled it just incase cause not familiar with t600's i own columbias, like all i have. but the fuel gauge wass showing 1/4 full so i filled both sides thinking its a fuel problem. measured it before filliing it up manualy and it looked like more than enough to fill

With the key on, let cycle though the regular bulb/gauge check. Once that's done, turn the cruise switch off, then hold set or resume for 3-5 seconds. The ECM should give you a flash code. Even with no active faults, you will get a 55 (no faults), if you get nothing, I'd be looking at ECM power/grounds first. Checking flash codes is just a quick simple way to check that the ECM is powering up.
Edit, if the ECM is giving flash codes, at least you know it's powering up, it's not ruling out an ECM power issue, just making less likely. If it gives you an active fault, go in that direction. If it only gives a 55, I'd be checking for a fuel problem..Last edited: Apr 18, 2016

Sounds to me like the transfer pump went out. I had the same thing happen right after I bought my 06 with a cat C-15.Peterbiltt Thanks this.

Does the rpm gauge move when you crank it over? If so ecm is working. If not and you get flashes from check engine lamp my be camshaft position sensor.
