Have a 05 Century with DD60 series 14.0L engine. Going down highway and engine just stopped, all gauges went to zero with no fault codes. Got to side of road and tried a re-start, engine started right up and ran fine the rest of the trip. Dealer said good luck call back when you a fault code. Any ideas?

Check the fuses; (no BS) myself, drvg down the road, truck went dead...before stopping, (while still rolling) truck restarted, repeated, drove to shop, found a fuse had wiggled out.
Just noticed this post is dated; what was the problem?Last edited: Apr 14, 2016

$9.00 ignition relay in fuse box.

Sounds like a broken wire on the battery or a loose connection. I have seen companies put a fuse on the ground wire just to make it easy HK unhook the power. Open battery box. Problem should be in there if it just shut down with no warning. And no power.

Also many of these new trucks will have a switch on the floor by your left foot. Might have accidentally kicked it. It'll shut everything down.

problem solved as per post #4. Thanks for all the suggestions.
