How about fish? I kill about 5,000 a year so if thats a sin I a ####ed!

 

Ever see a fish out of water? Obviously in major distress and pain. Yes. Fish count. I do t think anyone is a bad person for these things. I just think it's a cultural thing. It's not a "sin". I use that term very loosely. I don't believe in religion. It's just what you've been taught. And have been taught to think this is the only way.

 

I kinda feel they are here for us to eat. Replinishable resource no different than corn.

 

Corn doesn't scream when you put a flame to it. Or start flipping and trying to move away from said flame. And again, do you feel that way about your dog? Or cat?

 

Ofcourse not, Duh! Care more about my dog than some family members. haha But have no problem killing salmon by the ton or moose or deer hunting so......

 

Well.........that makes you a hypocrite. And please. Please don't take that as me criticizing you. Because I'm not. It's just a fact. You love your dog right? Your dog is a sweet, loyal, innocent cute little baby. That moose or that deer or that cow or pig and yes, that chicken and even those fish share the same feelings, emotions, have dreams when they sleep, have strong ties to their family units, mourn when a close friend or family member dies, etc. They all have a right to live. They all have a desire to be free. And to be loved. And to live a life free of pain and misery. Yet for 60 BILLION land animals on this planet, those rights have been taken away by humans. And why? Because they won't try to eat some very tasty alternatives to these animals? For taste? So out of sheer selfishness, gluttony and sloth we decide we will take the lives of billions of animals a year. Again, as stated, we wonder why we live in such an angry and violent world. If we can do this to innocent animals, why is it no wonder we can do this to people? Our own brothers and sisters?

 

What about giving my Three growing boys a freezer full of Non Hormone injected meet for protein. Plus Salmon. I think that 9 out of 10 would agree with me. Thx

 

How about feeding your boys plants and vegetables? No cholesterol which means no chance of heart disease. No milk/cheese so no chance of osteoporosis which is what dairy causes. And guaranteed they won't be fat and nasty living on a plant and vegetable diet. Which means they'll get hotter chicks. Protein? I get my daily allowance on two peanut butter sandwiches and a can of beans. Problem with Americans is we get too much protein. We typically get our daily allowance with breakfast.

 

True, on american diets. We eat a lot of beans and soups too. But a lot of Salmon and seafood in general. You seem to be a good guy so what you say to a person that thinks since plants are "alive" youre hurting them by killing them?
