    Hey,

    I'm on the way to beginning my career in trucking, and I've got a few questions. Today I received a phone call from Prime Inc, and they notified me that I'll be starting next week in Springfield, Missouri. The recruiter told me I'll need to have knowledge of Air Brakes, General Knowledge, Combination Vehicles, and Tanker on day 1 of orientation. I have been utilizing the "High Road Training Program" on another site, which I fully intend to finish; but I would like to know the main things I need to know for day 1. I didn't realize how much information you need to know if you want to be a trucker. Has anyone here started out with Prime, and have some advice on what I need to focus on primarily?

    Crist CDL is your best friend. Memorize the questions and answers on that site and you'll ace the written. Guaranteed.

    Just have your personal details lined up and ready to go to include;

    -Original Birth Certificate
    -Social Security Card
    -Job History and References - Have addresses, phone #s, dates, etc
    -Don't smoke weed this weekend??? That'd be a good idea
    -A voided check for direct deposit
    -SS #s for everyone that would be covered under your insurance (assuming you'll be getting their ins)
    -Anything the recruiter told you specifically to bring. They did give you sheet with what all to bring I hope?

    --And finally, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Get there early and stay late. Pay attention to other students when you aren't in the middle of a training exercise yourself. Ain't nothing worse than a know-it-all student that don't know jack ####. There will be one in your orientation. Guaranteed.

    Good luck at Prime.

    If you need to know those things on first day go to truckers reports home page. at the bottom you will see the practice test. I am a trainer for road master driving school and all the test are what we teach.

    I don't know about Prime but I have used the web site below. As far as I can tell they have every question and every answer for EVERY CDL endorsement. http://www.truckercountry.com/

    Ive been taking the pratice test at Crist CDL and truckingtruth but I'm wondering if its accurate? Ive got 100% at Cristcdl everyday. I'm planing flatbed but would like to get my double triple and tanker endorsement as well. If I will use the cristcdl for practice you think I will pass it?

    Its very accurate. I took the practice test on this site and 95% of the questions appeared on the DMV test (http://driving-tests.org/cdl-practice-test/) passed mine on 4/8/16. Good luck :)
