Well anyone what wants to worry has my permission to carry on....all I will say is.....Ive been out here a day or 3... And the 2 things that have not changed since my grandaddy set me up in his ol B Model are.....

Some responders have had fun with your comment. I will seriously address your comment regarding GPS tracking. 1) Not all are Quallcom. Some are transponders that are wired to the ground and hot for power, so there is no way to plug into them. 2) Transponders do not necessarily know where they are. They are detected by the GPS software that determines "oh, there you are, you little rascal" but the software doesn't tell it where it is. 3) Who says that the government can plug into your data port, just like that?

There still is a concern however, and that is in an audit. They can request your supporting documentation. If you have GPS, and it doesn't match with your logs, then the carrier could be in trouble. But that is not on the road, rather in the office.

Now time to put our foil hats back on.

Bear was out on the platform sticking his head in everyone's window on the 4th of July one year ( East bound I-10 / Mississippi ). I had a compressor problem that produced a non stop hiss, but pressure was always good. He sticks his head in, asks " How's it going. "
" Good sir." says I.
" You have an air leak?" says he.
" Yes sir. Compressor valve is stuck, but look both tanks are 120."
" OK, get that taken care of though."
" Yes sir I will."
He motions me through. I'm thinking what was that about. Later I realized, because it was the 4th, bear was actively looking for someone that had been doing a little drinking on the Holiday weekend. I'd bet money that's what he was doing.

Now you can also use bear's electronic warfare in your favor. Keep your #### wired tight. At PoE's they can access your CSA score faster than its taken me to write this. When someone comes up with a history or a string of passed inspections, is that the guy you would fool with? Now when someone comes up with the same violation 2, 3, or 7 times, then your going to be looked at most likely.
