    HOUSTON (KTRK) --
A tanker truck has been pulled out of a massive hole that opened up beneath it in west Houston on Friday.

It happened on Town and Country Boulevard near I-10. The truck was above an underground parking garage when the pavement gave way. The parking garage had been filled with water from this week's flooding and the tanker truck was there to pump it out.

By 6:30pm, crews had managed to pull the truck out of the hole. No injuries were reported.

According to a sign visible near the truck, the upper level of the garage is not rated to support vehicles over 4,400 pounds, which is about the weight of a full-size sedan.

'Screw it. Throw some caution tape around it and we'll get it later.'

At least it was in the shade.

Guess nobody ever taught the driver how rude it is to just drop in. You should always call first.....:D

If you look closely in the picture at the overhead barricade, it clearly says max weight 4000 pounds

That's what you get for parking in a handicap spot. Karma's a twisted mistress.

This is true. However, why was there not a perimeter outside of the "anti-truck entrance"? No fence, no curb, no nothing from what I can see.

Just from the picture, looks like the truck is at "ground level" given all the grass islands and such nearby. Must have the area dug out for parking underneath.

EDIT: Watched the video and there is a curb the driver had to hop over. Idiot.
